Brown’s
20/20 Quick Start
Our
all-milk high protein and high energy milk replacer. It
mixes easily, and calves love its’ taste. Since all
protein sources are milk based, there is no concern about
poor digestibility or allergic reaction. In addition,
Quick Start contains Bovatec@ to fight cocci, and
Lactobacillus Acidophilus to strengthen the immune system
and help prevent problems associated with undesirable
bacteria in the small intestine.

Brown’s
22/18 Milk – N – More
Our
Milk – N – More is specifically designed for herds
where calves are exposed to diarrhea-causing organisms.
Its’ all-milk blend of high protein ingredients gives
calves the extra edge under stress conditions. Milk – N
– More contains a very high level of Neomycin@ and
Oxytetracycline@ to combat many of the bacterial organisms
which kill calves. It mixes and stays in solution better
than many other milk replacers (Withdraw 30 days before
slaughter).

Akey
Pinnacle 26/17
Pinnacle
is one of a new generation of milk replacers that
stimulates accelerated growth. It is designed to be fed at
a fixed rate of 1-1/2 lbs per calf per day. It contains
26% protein and 17% fat. This combination enhances growth
and development and, at the same time, stimulates intake
of starter grains. Pinnacle contains no antibiotics but
does contain Apex, a natural blend of ingredients that
stimulates health and enhances growth of good bacteria in
the digestive tract. In addition, Pinnacle contains a
blend of short-chain fatty acids not normally found in
milk replacers which also stimulates health and rapid
growth.

Brown’s
Calf Cox-Guard
Brown’s
Calf Cox-Guard stops coccidiosis before it starts.
Coccidiosis is a major cause of calf mortality and greatly
contributes to many calf diseases such as pneumonia and
dysentery by lowering the calves’ resistance. Brown’s
Calf Cox-Guard contains Bovatec, one of the most effective
coccidiostats on the market. Brown’s Calf Cox-Guard is a
tasty coarse texured 20% protein calf feed containing
steam flaked corn and oats and a specifically formulated
pellet containing sources of highly digestible energy and
amino acids. Diamond-V Yeast Culture and a unique flavor
compound are included in each batch of Calf Cox-Guard to
stimulate appetite and speed rumen development. When used
in combination with Brown’s 20/20 Quick Start,
coccidiosis can virtually be eliminated as a reason for
calf mortality.

Brown’s
Grow – N – Glow
Calves
virtually "glow" on Brown’s Grow – N –
Glow. This 16% coarse textured mix of steam rolled corn,
oats, barley, and pellets keeps calves growing well after
weaning. Unlike competitors, Brown’s recognizes that at
this age a calf does not always get the choice feeds on
the farm. That is why we provide a 16% Calf Grower rather
than a lower protein, lower quality feed. Numerous
research reports generally identify the period after
weaning through six months as a time when many calf
raising programs break down. Brown’s Grow – N – Glow
includes Bovatec to fight coccidiosis, and improve average
daily gain when the rumen starts to develop. It also
includes Diamond V Yeast and dry milk products to speed
growth and rumen development. This feed is also very
popular and used successfully by dairy youth raising dairy
feeder steers for show and sale.

Dairy
Lean I
A
40% non-medicated protein supplement pellet which is amino
acid balanced to provide rapid lean growth for dairy steer
and bulls from 350 to 600 pounds body weight. When fed at
2 pounds per head/day with high energy forages and grains,
calves will gain lean weight quickly without adding
excessive frame size. Dry, whole shelled corn should be
fed and the mix of corn and Dairy Lean Pellets must be
available on a continuous, free-choice basis. This will
prevent over-eating and bloat. It is not recommended to
feed high moisture corn with the Dairy Lean Feeding
Program.

Dairy
Lean II
A
31% non-medicated protein supplement pellet which is amino
acid balanced and rumen buffered to finish dairy
steers/bulls quickly. Feed at 2 pounds per day with whole
dry shelled corn on a free choice basis. Dairy steers can
often finish to a choice grade with high dressing
percentage in 13 to 15 months.
