Megabucks AGF is a premium, concentrated, high calcium-phosphorus mineral/vitamin mix (16% calcium/8% phosphorus). It has vitamins essential to mineral uptake and utilization and is prepared in a granular form to make it easy for deer to eat; and so that you can mix it with feed. AGF is formulated for maximum antler growth, not for baiting. It has just enough salt to make it tasty (25%) so that bucks will get more concentrated minerals to grow big trophy racks. Added flavors from natural foods are used to help cover the bitterness so that we don't have to dilute it with salt.

In late February, start putting out MEGABUCKS AGF minerals to be sure bucks don't enter the antler growth season without an established mineral lick. You should see peak activity from May to August.

To use MEGABUCKS AGF as a mineral lick (the best method) clear the forest litter from a flat spot, spread 3 to 5 lbs. in the cleared spot. As minerals are consumed, deer will actually dig a hole to get the minerals. Add more AGF as needed for the entire antler-growth season, March to September.

Mineral blocks are not a good way to provide minerals. Most are simply blocks of trace mineral salt. A few contain some calcium and phosphorous; but blocks just don't work because each lick of the block only picks up the tiny amount of mineral that dissolves in the saliva. A wet tongue touching granulated material picks up a half-teaspoon full at a time. Getting antler growth minerals from a block is like getting a drink of water by licking an ice cube.
