Constant break checks are required to ensure that the mill stock is being ground to the desired consistency for optimum extraction of flour. A single roller mill out of adjustment can affect the yield of flour being extracted from the mill.

Periodically the rolls need to be removed for re-corrugating and a fresh set of sharp rolls is installed. Here we are changing the upper set of rolls on one side of a double high roller mill.
